Encora
October 2018 - October 2018
- Since I joined Encora, I've worked as a Full Stack Engineer with Angular, Java and Python. I am proficient with cloud providers and use Terraform and Chef as Infrastructure as Code (IaC). In a client project at Encora, my team was responsible for delivering features in a Java microservices environment. Our team handled DevOps tasks, and I was primarily responsible for managing the infrastructure, such as building CloudWatch metrics for new and existing microservices, and granting the right IAM policies, etc. I'm familiar with ElasticSearch, which we extensively use in some of our projects. Recently, I added a Data Engineer role to my stack of knowledge and started working with Apache Airflow tasks for data repairs. Currently, as a Data Engineer, I am involved in data cleaning and pre-data analysis using Python Jupyter notebooks. I am also responsible for some Python microservices that deliver prediction results using machine learning algorithms. These algorithms answer questions about churn, which is the probability of a client ending their contract with the company. I am also working in a Generative AI product.

- served as a full-stack developer for a geographical information system (GIS) application. This web app allows users to import various file formats such as DXF (Autodesk's drawing exchange format), TIN, shapefiles, XLS, CSV, etc. The primary purpose of the application is to support water supply and sewer management in Brazil. It serves as a centralized web platform for offices across Brazilian cities, offering a map of water and sewage pipes. The main objective was to address outdated information about pipe locations. Within the application, users (who are employees of the client company) can view drawings representing different pipe types, accessing details such as diameter, exact latitude and longitude coordinates, and whether it's a water or sewage pipe. They can update this information by easily modifying the drawings with a mouse or adding coordinates through user input. This project was both functional and exciting, contributing significantly to improving data accuracy in pipe location information, making the life of technicians working to solve underground water leaks, for example, much easier. Main Technologies Used in this Project: Angular 4, OpenLayers (JS library), GeoServer, Java Spring Boot
