At Upland, I led a team of 5 developers through a significant dependency upgrade project, transitioning from React 16.3 to 18.2. This endeavor at Upland resulted in a 40% improvement in build time efficiency and an 11% reduction in bundle size. Additionally, the team successfully decreased total vulnerabilities from 106 to 10, effectively eliminating critical and high-risk vulnerabilities to enhance the overall security and performance of the software system.
I actively contributed to the team responsible for creating and overseeing the organization's comprehensive User Interface Component Library at Upland. This library, developed using React and TypeScript and showcased in Storybook, comprised a collection of reusable UI components designed to cater to the diverse needs of multiple teams.
