Acomplishments
In my previous role, I developed a comprehensive data platform from the ground up, including the ELT process, data warehousing, orchestration, DBT implementation, and reporting tools. Additionally, I established a self-service ETL platform empowering data analysts to customize their ETL processes by adjusting certain variables, streamlining operations effectively.
Furthermore, I implemented crucial components such as orchestrators, Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) tables, data quality measures, and a robust backup strategy within the company. These initiatives significantly enhanced the maturity and reliability of the company's data infrastructure, achievements that I take great pride in.
In my first month as a Data Warehouse Engineer at Gojek, Indonesia's largest tech company, I achieved a significant milestone by successfully building a platform that ingests data from BigQuery to any API. This platform is now used across the entire company in production, demonstrating its reliability and effectiveness. Joining Gojek in 2019 was a major achievement for me, particularly as I transitioned into this role with no prior experience in data engineering. Despite being new to the field, I quickly adapted and contributed to a crucial project that supports Gojek's data-driven operations. This experience not only honed my technical skills but also reinforced my ability to rapidly learn and apply new concepts in a high-stakes environment.
