Rewrote system for calculating incentives for the airline agents based on passenger flown revenue which was a desktop application built in Java/Swing and required internet explorer's JRE to run. Solely developed who rewrote the entire application using React.js for the front end and Node.js for the back end. This involved reading the old code written about 20 years ago and figuring out the business logic entirely from the code and old applications. Moved the infrastructure from on-premise to AWS. Tech: React.js, Node.js, Express.js, Typescript, AWS, Oracle. Tenure at Medly Pharmacy: Objective: Build the platform and products for B2B, B2C and internal pharmacy operations. Architectured the platform to be used by multiple products connecting Doctors, Pharmacy, Insurance companies, Wholesalers. Led two product teams, each with five to eight associates and senior developers. Worked with product managers to gather product requirements and design the technical architecture. Created an event driven system to get prescriptions from Pharmacy systems and seed to multiple products. Onboarded an otherwise outsourced iOS consumer app and released it with a complete UI refresh and CI/CD provisioning. Tech: Kotlin, Micronaut, AWS (Kinesis, Lambda, DDB), Postgres, React.js, Redux, Typescript. Tenure at ThoughtWorks: Objective: Help clients achieve their goals by building scalable, maintainable, high-quality software systems.
