- Project: State wise stock market sentiment analysis The project focuses on the sentiments of people (customers) in different regions towards the stock market. Our client decides the contents of advertisements based on the sentiment type by the input we give from our analysis methods. A large amount of data is collected through web scraping via platforms like blogs, public websites, social media comments and a few other sources using certain keywords like stock_market_fraud, stock_learning etc. with profile location. The data is collected in .txt format. This data is cleaned & given as input to the KeyBERT and Word Cloud algorithm. This model gives the respective region & its sentiment. A set of 45 different combinations are made and run to collect the data. The end result is a list of keywords that can be used for state-wise sentiment analysis of the stock market for social media marketing and advertisements. Roles and Responsibility 1. Data collection & Cleaning: Extracting data using web scraping. Combining the keywords with the region & platforms. Collecting the data in the form of a .txt file. Data cleaning process was done by removing pronouns, verbs, and breaking conjunctions. The cycle was run for 25 days & 5 days buffer to validate any platform change. 2. Model building: Working with the Word Cloud algorithm to get the visual representation of the frequency of the keyword. Tools and Technologies Used: Python, Matplotlib, KeyBERT (NLP), Chrome driver, Selenium, Word Cloud, Jupyter Notebook (Anaconda 3), Nltk.
