- In the first project, I was responsible for the design, development, and management of ETL pipelines. It involved using Azure Data Factory to load data from SAP source tables to our own Azure Data Lake Storage while auditing the data. Utilised Python, SQL and Pyspark on Azure Databricks to create dimensions and facts by processing and merging the tables. Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to align requirements. Conducted regular testing to maintain data integrity and documented the workflow of the ETL process. In the second project, we transformed statistical forecasting code from Pandas to PySpark within the Azure Databricks environment. Created data processing notebooks to load huge historical data with monthly updates, make complex data transformations and run forecasting models. This code transformation greatly improved scalability and processing speed. Created a job workflow in Databricks, ensuring automated execution. Attended daily stand up calls to ensure collaboration with the client for the requirements and data scientists to implement machine learning models. Third project involved making a POC to build a question answering application using LLM and exploring the Weaviate vector database.
