  • 2022, and creation of automation pipelines * At Dataprise, all code was retained in TFS repositories on an older TFS 2014 server * None of these applications had automation, and releases and release notes were managed entirely by hand * The structure of the old repository was such that very particular steps needed to be followed for code to build successfully * I simplified the structure and began migrating the code to Git repositories on a cloud ADO 2022 server, so that someone would only need to clone the required repositories and have a building solution * All projects that were migrated also had preliminary build pipelines created that could be enabled for gated checkins or as continuous integration once the team moved active work to the new repos Migration to TFS 2017: Assist migration of code and release processes to TFS 2017 from an earlier version, rebuilding release pipelines to be more streamlined and efficient * When I first was hired at HealthAxis, releases were very detailed and time-consuming processes that ran through Microsoft Release Management Tool 2013 * Processes were migrated to TFS 2017, requiring drastic rebuilds of much of the existing automation * Many different applications were migrated, with various requirements and dependencies for each * All active applications were also then migrated into a single TFS Collection for a unified and cleaner code base New Environment Creation: Assisted with the creation of new, even more secure environments with more strict requirements * Security requirements in the new environment are much stricter, requiring adjustments to applications and release processes * This includes use of Azure DevOps 2019, and retooling of release pipelines for the newer platform Jenkins Server Creation: Assist with the setup of a Jenkins server to automate a number of different adhoc tasks that are frequently given to Release Management team * Similar to release pipelines, powershell scripts were used to create custom automated tasks * Groovyscript was used as a way to make the UI of the automated tasks simple and variable
